Bom Dia! I am currently in the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro and thought I should just write a quick update to say all is well and the South American part of the holiday is about to come to an end. Tomorrow I'm off to Panama City to start the Central American journey. I apologize for not posting more but we have had limited internet access and on the two times I did have access and tried to post something, the system (blogger) was not working right and wouldn't format properly. I checked the help line and others were complaining about the same problem so I'm hoping they have now fixed it. I'll try again before I leave here as I have several blogs done. If it's still not working I may just insert a lot of spaces to try and get some breaks in the blogs. I didn't figure any of you would really want to read five pages of non-stop notes with absolutely no breaks along the way. My blogs are hard enough to read when they come in paragraph form. Anyway, all is well down here. Rio is absolutely beautiful. As I write this I am staring out the hotel window at a beautiful sandy beach backed by lots of green space and palm trees and then lovely mountains in the background. It's an absolutely perfect day - but more of that later in a real blog. Ciao! (As you can tell, this didn't format either so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I've tried it with spaces and that doesn't work so perhaps I'll have to try the next one with periods. The spell check also doesn't work in English any more so please forgive any spelling errors!)
