Monday, August 24th - Mataro, Spain

This was another relaxing day in Mataro.  I had breakfast, did some blogging until early afternoon and then headed down to the beach.  I stopped at a little cafe for a sandwich about 2 p.m. and then sat on a bench in the shade on the promenade overlooking the beach and read for a couple of hours.  I was going to go down to the beach but the wind really picked up and the sand was bowing around so I decided that wouldn't be all that great for my contacts so I just moved to a different bench in another shady location and read for another hour.  Then it got too cool in the shade so I moved to a bench in the sun and read some more.  Who says I don't have variety in my life?  Three different park benches in one afternoon!

Eventually I went back to the hotel and showered and changed and probably read some more until it was time for dinner.  I don't remember where we went but it was ether another pub or an outdoor cafe.  And that was another lovely day in Mataro.
