Hello all
I keep hearing that I am behind in my blogs so this will be a quick one just to say all is well and I am currently in beautiful Seychelles. Since leaving Kenya I have visited Madagascar, Mauritius and Seychelles, and I leave here on the 31st to go to Johannesburg and three weeks in South Africa.
Internet is not easy to come by over here. Some places just admit they don't have it. Other places say it hasn't been available since the last cyclone but I'm thinking they never really do have it. And other places like this are one computer to a 200+ room resort so it's hard to get on the machine and you hate to take too long. And to make matters worse it is a very slow dial-up connection that just would not let me open blogger that last few times I've tried. However, today it works so here's a quick note just so you know I'm still continuing my journey.
Tanzania, Egypt, Madagascar, Mauritius and Seychelles are completed or totally up to date in handwritten form. Now I just have to find time to tpye them up and post them and I'm not sure when that will be.
Anyway, that's all from me at this stage except to say thanks for all the birthday greetings. It was tough but I survived my birthday on my own on a white powder beach on the island of Mahe in Seychelles. It was pretty darn relaxing and enjoyable.
Cheers!
Jayne
